New for the POW in 2020/21 is Furberg's newly designed locking inside Edge-Technology only on 161cm this season!
The Ultimate Board for the DEEPEST Days
The Pow Split was designed with one goal in mind; to outperform every other splitboard on the deepest days. Its long full rocker in combination with reverse sidecut in nose and tail makes it effortless to ride. To further improve the performance in powder we have added a small fishtail, but kept the tail high enough to still make it possible to land switch every now and then. This board can charge hard in all conditions despite its powder specific shape.
High-speed stability in combination with maneuverable and catch free properties has made the Freeride Split one of the most talked about splitboards of the last years. Its long sidecut radius makes the splitboard calm and forgiving, while rocker and reverse sidecut towards the tips make it float outstanding in powder and stay catch free in any situation.

Locking Inside Edge-Technology
A tongue and groove system has been developed eliminating the movement between the board halves. The new splitboard locking Edge-Technology assembles like a regular splitboard and rides like your solid snowboard. Gone is the lack of response that splitboards have suffered from. Includes edge cleaning scraper with every board purchase.
Long Turning Radius
It is standard to use a longer turning radius on a freeride ski than on a slalom ski in the skiing industry; however, Furberg Snowboards is the only brand to adapt the turning radius for freeride snowboards. A longer turning radius generates better stability at higher speeds and, more importantly, gives the boards a calmer and more forgiving behavior by distributing the edge pressure over the entire contact length.
Flat Camber
For maximum flotation without losing responsiveness and grip.
The slight camber under foot helps to achieve better edge-hold, a more responsive behavior, and ultimate flotation as well as still offering great skinning grip.Long Rocker and Reverse Sidecut Radiuses
When a board is ridden flat on the snow, a long rocker transition will make the nose of the board impact irregularities with a low angle of incidence and slide over with little resistance. Many snowboard brands are aware of this, but only we have combined the rocker with a reverse sidecut in nose and tail to maintain this low angle of incidence when riding the board on edge. The long transitions of the reverse sidecut make the board turn more effortlessly since the typical pressure points at the end of the effective edge do not exist. The overall result is a very catch-free and surfy board.
Long and High Nose
Increases flotation and makes the board slide over irregularities in the snowpack with less resistance. The very last part of the nose also has a slightly steeper angle to make touring with our splitboards easier.
