As if injected with a highly potent “Do-Everything” serum, the Kill Switch brings more serious all-mountain capability to the family. Deadly slashes, big faces, vicious carves and bone crushing stomps, the Kill Switch is an unbridled beast. True to its family roots the fun-factor is sky high.
Featuring the Future Shapes family’s familiar oversize features and cleverly though-out construction, the Kill Switch’s longer and slightly narrower shape gives this mutant the same insane auto-float sensation, but with more stability and control at speed. Less directional than purebred powder specialists, the Kill Switch handles regular and switch duties with ease, but when conditions are epically deep, its chip-fork-like pintail loosens the ride in a surfy way and keeps its big nose out of trouble.

Amplid Kill Switch Snowboard

$590.00Price
  • Low Camber W/ Early Rise - A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Its toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.

Omni Core - This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.

Carbon Pop Band - A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.

Jekell & Hyde Geometry - Max effective edge and square centimeters for floatation in the minimum board or ski length. Unsinkable, but nimble pow shreds, sawn-off jib decks with huge pop and insane edge-hold or the ultimate all-mountain ski shape recipe.

Flotation Tips - Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.

Sintered 7 Base - Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.

Pre-Cured Impact Plates - Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.

Hexo2 Lite - Spin to win with effortless style. Amplid’s HEXO2-Lite replaces specific areas of weightier wood at the tips with featherlight recycled paper honeycomb, practically eliminating swing weight.
